The Douglas Family First Trip To The Apple Orchard

How do you end September? With a family trip to the apple orchard! The crisp air, crunchy leaves, made way for delectable apples all for our picking!

This was Anaís second fall season and we wanted to start it off with a bang! She’s such a huge fan of apples, applesauce, and apple juice, that we thought it was fitting to bring her to Rivers Or Garda in Connecticut.

Anaís was so thrilled when she realized she was surrounded by so many apples! She was walking around trying to hold all of them in her hands. Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of her cradling about 5 apples using her chin as extra support, but I did get a darn cute picture or shall I say pictures of her devouring the apples!

As Anaís munched away on yummy apples, I filled up our bag because I knew I wanted to bake a ton of yummy treats when we got back home and hubby was more than thrilled to fill our bag!

The best part about our first trip as a family to Rogers Orchards was the excitement on Anaís’ tiny little face. She enjoyed every second running around the orchard, collecting apples, and was all around overwhelmed with happiness. These are the moments I cherish as a mom, bringing joy to my child in the simplest of ways. If you’re looking for more ways to spend fall with your family check out my latest posts!

  1. An impressive share! I have just forwarded this onto a coworker who has been doing a little research on this. And he in fact ordered me lunch due to the fact that I stumbled upon it for him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thanks for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending the time to talk about this topic here on your website.|
